I love my job. I’m incredibly fortunate to be able to do something I love and actually make a living out of it. Leonie & Kev’s Highland Elopement was one of my favourite days ever and I couldn’t believe how lucky I was to be a part of it.
Leonie got in touch earlier this year and I could barely contain my excitement as she told me about their plans. I joined Leonie & Kev at the wonderful Killiehuntly to photograph them getting ready before we took a short drive to the beautiful Uath Lochans, just South of Aviemore. We took a gentle walk through the woodland up to a spot which overlooked the Lochans and where Leonie & Kev planned to tie the knot. Neil Lynch (lovely man) conducted an incredibly emotional ceremony while the couple read their own heartfelt vows. Afterwards, we took a stroll through the woods to take some photographs before reuniting with their adorable dogs Rue and Cooper.
What an absolute beauty of a day. Two beautiful souls getting marriedView full post »

Ryan & Sarah wanted to do a first look before the ceremony and to escape the pre wedding nerves by taking a trip over to the medieval town of Barga for some photographs. We spent a short time wandering the quiet streets making our way up towards the Cathedral. We were then greeted with the most amazing view out over the town and surrounding mountains. Afterwards, we drove back up the steep, winding road for the wedding ceremony in the beautiful grounds of I Cedri. An incredible Italian meal followed, as did copious amount of local wine and some dancing into theView full post »
Recently, I joined the lovely Natalie and Matt for a few hours out in the wilderness of Kintail. These folks currently live in Paris and are the talented couple behind Living in Clips (check it out). We had a really great time talking and sharing ideas and just generally enjoying being out in the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
Here is a taste of what we got up to.View full post »
