Ryan & Sarah, Tuscany, Italy

Last year I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph the wedding of Ryan & Sarah near the beautiful town of Barga in Tuscany.  This was my first trip to Italy and I was blown away by its rugged beauty. I first met Ryan & Sarah at a wedding I shot a couple of years ago and when I heard about their plans to tie the knot in Tuscany, I was super keen to be involved!  The day couldn’t have been more perfect.  Ryan & Sarah wanted to do a first look before the ceremony and to escape the pre wedding nerves by taking a trip over to the medieval town of Barga for some photographs.  We spent a short time wandering the quiet streets up towards the Cathedral which had the most amazing view out over the town and surrounding mountains.  Afterwards, we drove back up the steep, winding road for the wedding ceremony in the beautiful grounds of I Cedri, followed by an incredible Italian spread and lots of wine!
